With 20 years of healthcare, recruiting, and management experience, Shannon is a valuable asset to StraussGroup.  She joined us in 2008 as an Account Executive in the Life Sciences division to expand our presence in the healthcare industry.

After achieving a degree in Physical Therapy, Shannon began her career in the U.S. Navy where she served as a Physical Therapy provider and was later promoted to Division Chief of Ancillary Services, managing physical therapy, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy and optometry.  Shannon’s continued success in this role earned her a promotion to the Chief of Operations position for a joint forces medical command where she and her team achieved three consecutive perfect scores on Inspector General Surveys during her tenure.  In addition to clinical operations management, her Naval experience includes the recruitment of physicians, dentists, allied health professionals, and healthcare management executives.

Shannon's exceptional work ethic and attention to detail have earned her a trusted status with her client facilities.  She has placed top tier talent at hospitals, medical practices, surgical centers, therapy/rehab organizations and private healthcare organizations throughout the nation.
