Originally from central NY, Josh moved to Buffalo in 2003 to pursue an education at The University of Buffalo. He graduated in 2007with a Bachelors degree in Economics. Since then, Josh has worked as a successful recruiter with local Western New York organizations.

Josh’s claim to success is his work ethic and ability to provide the highest levels of service to his customers.  “I am always up for a challenge and with my blue-collar work ethic instilled from working for my father’s masonry business, along with the recruiting experience I have gained throughout my career, I am well equipped to find the most qualified candidates in the Fire, Industrial, and Medical Safety Supply/Equipment and PPE industries.”

Josh has worked a myriad of jobs ranging from hands-on labor, hospitality and night-life, retail sales, and finally working behind a desk. These jobs have given him a great perspective so that he can relate to people at all levels of the workforce.  

Josh is passionate about finding the right candidate for his customers. “If there's a top candidate hiding somewhere, I will identify and recruit that candidate”. Josh has strong knowledge base in industries ranging from healthcare to automation to industrial safety.  “I have been an athlete most of my life and I am competitive by nature.  I strive to win clients through service and speed of process. I love making a difference in people’s lives. Recruiting gives me anther platform to do so. I have a ‘customer first’ attitude and I am excited to be a part of the successful team here at StraussGroup”.
